It is the basis for material data management systems in companies that are already intensively involved with material processes, but it is also a finished product for companies in which material management is recognized as necessary but has not been able to be operated sufficiently due to a lack of capacity.

WIAM^® MaterialsHub provides you with flexible and expandable solutions to provide all relevant departments with the necessary information about materials for their work. And the fields of application are very diverse, since all industrial products are made of materials. The fields of application that first catch your eye are of course the construction and the calculation. WIAM^® MaterialsHub is an IT system that, as a single point of truth, can store a company’s entire materials knowledge on the one hand, and on the other hand make this knowledge available according to the need-to-know principle. But there is also a place for parameters for simulation, purchasing, quality management and material compliance.

Furthermore, WIAM^® MaterialsHub can be combined with other WIAM products, be it with the databases WIAM^® METALLINFO, WIAM^® MMPDS or WIAM ^® Engineering, be it with WIAM^® LabDataHub for laboratory data management. However, it also offers you the opportunity to exchange material information with other systems: with systems from the CAE environment, with PLM or PDM systems, but also with your ERP system.

The data structures and processes shown in WIAM^® MaterialsHub are based on our experience with a large number of customers and can be used immediately in the existing form. However, if you have already developed your own special material processes, the WIAM^® ICE technology behind WIAM^® MaterialsHub allows you to adapt 100% to your processes. You can individualize structures and data models, but also automate entire processes and evaluations.
