Only a few technologies are so ubiquitous, however unknown in the public, like the plasma surface technology. Every computer chip, many bearer, most of the turbine blades and all bags of crisps are processed through plasma surface technology. And there are many more examples.
WIAM presented the integration of the MMPDS database within its product portfolio during the spring meeting of the MMPDS consortiums in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. As a licensee, WIAM is now able to offer this qualified data to its customers and hence, proposes another opportunity to integrate metal data.
Visiting the JEC World Paris 2019, WIAM met customers and industry insiders, to learn about trends for this market to be integrated into its own product WIAM® Composites. The JEC is one of the most important trade shows for manufacturers and OEMs within the field of composites. Here, ideas and innovations are presented and created!
Starting in 2015, we have since been working together with our customer in the creation and implementation of a centralised material data management system. It is important to our customer that this system supports the entire product development process at numerous levels, regardless if it is in research and development, in simulation and calculation or in the final approval of materials, which will eventually be used in production.
